Nana's daily life

Nana sat on the park bench, looking about her. Her gang members were off on some big heeighst, and becuase she was more of a liability most of the time, she had to stay behind. She knew that one day she would be good at what she does when she was to finish learning.

Nana looked down at her cat, petting it.

Brandon sat on another Park bench on the other side of the Park. He gazed contently at his black-handled Switchblade, watching the light reflect off the blade.
He sighed, leading back against the Bench and closed his eyes. 'the fuz'll be after me soon' He said to himself, then looked up at the sky.

Nana noticed Brandon a few yrads off. She was curious, but still cautious. She set her cat down, letting it walk up to Brandon, sniffing at his feet.

Brandon looked down at the cat and smiled. He had alwas bin an animal lover, even if he was a gangster.
He picked it up gently and sat it on his lap. "Hey little guy"-his voice was quiet and soft-"What are you doing here?"

Tom looked up at the gangster, and sensing no threat, he began to purr and nuzzle him. "Meeewww." he purred.


Nana wathced closely with every movement he made. When she saw him pick up her cat, she knew it was safe, but still kept her guard up. She walked over cautiously and stiffled a laugh when she saw how cute Tom was being.

"Tom is usually never that nice to anyone," said Nana.

Brandon smiled and looked up at Nana. "Heh, I guess he just likes me" He said, stoking Tom's fur gingerly.

She bowed to Brandon, returning his smile. "I'm Nana. Kurama Nana. Its nice to meet you," she replied, as she sat down, c]scratching ehr cat behind the ears as Tom purred.

Brandon smiled. "Nice to meet you, the names' Brandon, Brandon Cade, leader of the timber street tigers" he said as he continued to stroke the cat.

"You remind me of Ottosama," she went on, watching him pet the cat.

Brandon nodded. "I see" he said quietly, not quite sure if that was a compliment or not.

She laughed at his uncertainty and smiled. "That is a compliment. You and Otto- oh look! Here he comes!" she said excitedly as Damien walked briskly over to the two. Nana ran to him, giving him and hug.

"Ah, my little Nana," he said playfully, making her blush.
